On Monday, March 31st, we started the day by meeting at school at around 8:00 AM. To help us become more familiar with the building, we were given some tasks to complete. After that, we split into small groups, and each group worked on a short presentation about trees.
Once the presentations were done, we headed outside to plant a little tree together, which was a great way to contribute to the environment and leave a small mark in Goslar.
At 1:00 PM, the group split up—some students traveled to the nearby city of Braunschweig, while others stayed to explore more of Goslar. A part of the group also went to a restaurant to enjoy a meal together.
In the evening, everyone returned to their exchange partners’ homes, where they spent the rest of the day with their host families, relaxing and enjoying time together.
