Day 3: Discussions, Awareness, and a Glimpse into European Politics

The third day of our exchange program started with a relaxed tea and coffee meeting, where we gathered to reflect on the previous day’s activities and share our thoughts. The Italian and Polish students exchanged impressions about the scavenger hunt, cake decorating, and cultural presentations. We also discussed our plans for the upcoming days, building even more excitement for the adventures still to come.

The morning continued with an important and thought-provoking topic—fast fashion. The presentation was prepared and delivered by the students participating in the Erasmus project, who had been researching the environmental and ethical impact of the fashion industry. They shared eye-opening facts about overproduction, labor exploitation, and pollution caused by the fast fashion sector.

In the afternoon, we took our learning beyond the school walls with a visit to the European House. There, we participated in an engaging role-playing activity, stepping into the shoes of Members of the European Parliament. Divided into groups, we debated, negotiated, and worked together to pass „legislation” on real-life issues. The activity gave us a deeper understanding of how the European Union operates and how decisions are made at a political level.
