Day 3 – Sunday in Portugal: Culture, Traditions and New Friendships

Sunday continued the cultural immersion experience with host families. It was another day filled with unforgettable moments, local traditions, and meaningful conversations.

Some students participated in family gatherings or outdoor activities, while others visited cultural sites, local cafés, viewpoints, or nearby cities. Spending time together allowed participants to better understand Portuguese traditions, values, and everyday life.

The weekend gave students a unique opportunity to improve communication skills, adapt to a different environment, and experience intercultural exchange in the most natural way possible. Through shared meals, activities, and conversations, participants learned that despite cultural differences, young people across Europe share many common interests and values.

By the end of the weekend, students already felt more connected not only to their host families but also to Portugal itself. The experiences and memories created during these first days became a strong foundation for the exciting project activities that were about to begin.
