Our second day was dedicated to discovering Porto, one of the most beautiful and iconic cities in Portugal.
We started early in the morning and travelled to Porto, where we enjoyed a guided walking tour through the historic city centre. We visited famous places such as Jardim do Morro, the impressive Dom Luís Bridge, São Bento Railway Station with its beautiful azulejo tiles, Mercado do Bolhão, Avenida dos Aliados, and the colorful Capela das Almas.
After lunch in downtown Porto, we continued exploring the city. We admired the world-famous Lello Bookstore, considered one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, and climbed the Clérigos Tower to enjoy stunning panoramic views over Porto.
In the late afternoon, we relaxed at Matosinhos and Leça Beach, where we could enjoy the Atlantic Ocean atmosphere after a busy day of sightseeing.
The visit to Porto gave us the chance to experience Portuguese history, architecture, and culture while spending quality time with our international friends.
