We dedicated the entire Saturday to an unforgettable, all-day educational excursion to Meteora, accompanied by an English-speaking guide. While marveling at the monumental monasteries seamlessly balanced atop giant rock pillars, we also had an important academic mission. We conducted hands-on field research titled „The Impact of Mass Tourism on UNESCO World Heritage Sites”. As part of our sustainability focus, we interviewed tourists and our guide, gathering valuable data regarding local ecology, conservation, and site preservation.
